Meet Me in Mexico

It didn't take much convincing when my best friend asked me to meet her in Mexico the following Monday. Might have been the most spontaneous decision I've ever made. It was a true YOLO moment. So, f$&# it! Off we went!

Our first stop was Rancho Pescadero. A gorgeous, adult only resort in Todos Santos. About 45 minutes south of Cabo. This place is fucking incredible to say the least. Yoga every morning, 2 miles of private beach to explore; this is the life.

Upon arriving, it's no surprise that Gaby and I B-lined it straight for the bar... Like we do. Our bartender, Danny was amazing. Let's be honest; I had thoroughly stalked the resort before we got there, so I knew exactly who he was. You pick your flavors and he'll craft you up a custom cocktail.

The next few days were spent by the pool. Centering ourselves with Yoga in the morning, followed by cocktails in hammocks under palm trees and the gorgeous Baja sun. Indulging in flavors that I didn't even know existed. Have you ever had a real shrimp? I thought I had.

Every morning we woke up to a basket (that I could fit in) filled with coffee, fresh fruit and pan dulce. And every evening we would find our beds turned down, covered by brightly colored mosquito nets and a little something sweet on our pillow.

This place was magic, it reminded me so much of the tropical feeling of Jamaica with a touch of home. I knew this trip was going to be special; however I didn't realize just how life altering and inspiring this week would be. And this was only the beginning.
